The number of charities reporting success with online fundraising has doubled over the past seven years. According to a 2007 Philanthropic Giving Index survey, 13% of charities receive at least half their donations online proving that success is possible.
And yet, half of all charities surveyed receive less than 5% of their donations online. For many non-profits, there is clearly room for improvement.
